All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations (such as an outdoor covered patio), when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.

Once you have decided on a basic range hood style, you can customize your hood with these available options (see your local Vent-A-Hood dealer for details):

  • Bands - horizontal or vertical
  • Pot Rails (standard on some models)
  • Custom finishes (see ** below)

ISDH18/ISDF18 - Euroline with Emerald Lip

The Euroline Series with Emerald Lip is ideal over standard cooking equipment. Not available in brass or copper overlay.

Vent-A-Hood can fabricate custom dimensions to 1/8" tolerances. Standard hood widths are 36", 42" and 48" with a depth of 27". For a 30" deep hood see model SEPI. For a 30" deep hood, wider than 48", use model SEPIT. This hood is 18" tall with optional, standard duct covers (shown) available to reach 8', 9' and 10' ceilings. Custom hood widths and custom height duct covers are also available.

A "2"* A "2" here indicates one 600 CFM, dual blower (900 equivalent CFM).

What does Equivalent CFM mean?

CFM ratings, for hoods using mesh or baffle filters, are overstated by approximately 1/3 because they are tested without the filters in place. A mesh or baffle filtered hood, rated at 450 CFM, actually delivers only about 300 CFM of airflow after the filters are placed in the air stream.

Because it uses a centrifugal filtration system with nothing to obstruct the airflow, the Vent-A-Hood Magic Lung® blower is much more efficient, delivering airflow equivalent to a "filtered" hood - but with a lower CFM rating. When comparing the Magic Lung® to blower units made by other manufacturers, use the "Equivalent CFM".

** In addition to stainless steel, Vent-A-Hood is also available in standard painted finishes plus dozens of custom paint colors. Copper and brass overlay are not available for this model.
